So, South Carolina Department of Corrections doesn't want us getting in their business by profiling inmates with contraband and "violating" the right to privacy those inmates have. And SCDC really doesn't want us letting you citizens know about it because you have absolutely, positively no right to know anything about how or why SCDC operates the way it does. SCDC also doesn't want you citizens to light up the phones and jam the email inboxes come Monday morning. What do you say we ignore SCDC doesn't want and just do what is right?
Today we will start with "Patrick Spigner" whom we first profiled in July of 2013. He is doing a twelve year bit at Lieber Correctional for a Kidnapping conviction out of Orangeburg county.
Spigner last posted to his Thugbook page at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
As you can see, Spigner kept posting even after we profiled him.
Our next inmate goes by the name "Dee Brown" and "Dee BossLife Brown". We haven't been able to identify him yet due to the basic database SCDC makes available - probably due to the inmate's right to privacy, don't ya know. If he was incarcerated in Georgia we would have him identified already. We can guess his approximate age and we know he is from the Maxcy Street area of Orangeburg. His "BossLife" page was formerly under the name "Dee Folk". Needless to say, this guy is a Gangster Disciple/Folk Nation member.
We did find a Devon Brown incarcerated at Evans Correctional, but we just aren't 100 percent sure on the photo ID. Dee Brown does seem to have ties to Evans. The earliest photos on Dee Brown's page are dated 2012. The photo for Devon Brown was taken in 2011 and none of the prison tattoo work is obvious as it may have been subsequent to the picture. Not to mention Devon Brown looks a bit older.
We are pretty sure his name his Brown due to a photo of a Myron Brown he has on his page. Take away the dreads and the facial hair and he looks a lot like "Dee Brown". Myron was arrested for robbing and assaulting a clerk at a gold business back in February.

You can also see Dee Brown pictured on the page of "Tone Folk" and you will notice comments from an "Antwann Brown", an inmate at Evans Correctional. We profiled Antwan Brown in 2012. He hasn't posted to that page since October 2012. We believe "Dee Brown" might be incarcerated at Lieber with Patrick Spigner. Both are from Orangeburg and there are Spigner family comments on Brown's page. The resemblance between Spigner and Dee Brown is pretty close and we have moments where we believe they are one and the same. However, the latest photos we have of Spigner show none of the tattoo work Brown has.
Note the comment from fellow inmate "Joseph Caesar Brena". We haven't identified him yet, either. There is no one listed by the name of Brena in the database and we don't feel like searching through 21 pages of inmates named Joseph right now. There is also a chance he is incarcerated in another state, but his comments and interactions with other SCDC inmates has us believing he might in a South Carolina prison.
His Thugbook page also gets comments from another inmate who goes by the name of "D Bless ThaGod", also unidentified at this time. Based on his high school information, he could be incarcerated in the state of New York.
If you are feeling adventurous, feel free to try your hand at identifying a few of these inmates for us. We could sure use the help because there are so damn many of them out there.
