Rehabilitation? Yeah, Right

We decided to check in on some of the inmates we profiled in the Georgia prison system just to compare with our recent results in the South Carolina system. All but a few of the prisoner Thugbook pages have been deleted. Georgia doesn't play, apparently. Compare that to the huge number of South Carolina inmates profiled, and then profiled again. Nothing changes here. No one is paying attention.

We did find one page from Georgia still up. We found out the inmate was paroled shortly before we ran out story on him. As soon as we brought up the Thugbook page of "Jeremy Grant", however, we grew concerned. We are pretty sure the parole authorities in Georgia, and particularly the cops in Statesboro, would take exception the photo below in light of the fact Grant is on parole for aggravated assault, burglary and three counts of robbery.






You see folks, that's the beauty of the Georgia Department of Corrections database. Citizens can even check in on those on probation or parole. Given the pathetic state of our probation and parole system due to budget cuts we are sure the agents would appreciate the input of citizens helping them to do a difficult job.
