Even More Summatown

You know, that guy at the mall must be making a mint from all these thugs dropping. Dude, we would suggest raising your prices. Seriously, have you seen all the disposable cash these thugs are flashing?

We are accustomed to thug supporters leaving comments to tell us "they ain't a gang" or "they works for they money". Sure. Whatever you say. Unfortunately, there is little technique called "connecting the dots". So let's connect some by leading off with a fugitive hunt. See the fellow in the red box? yeah, that guy throwing up the gang signs with the rest of the Summatown gang?

His name is Lourince Ladson, DOB 10-5-1992, of 104 Sally Lane in Summerville. He goes by the name of "Moonie" and is currently on the run from marijuana distribution charges. Remember back in March when the Summerville Metro Narcotics unit arrested all of these thugs? Ladson managed to get away. Uh, oh.......the dots just got connected from the Summatown gang to a major drug dealing enterprise.

See that fellow named Glenn? That's Gregory Anson Glenn, Jr., DOB 09-03-1992, of 214 Judith Drive. He goes by the Thugbook name "Junior SlimeBall Gee". Now see if you can find him in this photograph of the Summatown crew. Hint: He's the one with the red box around his head.

Well, would you look at that. A couple more dots just got connected. Let's look at Glenn's charges.

Possession of Ecstacy - Free on $10,000 bond set by Judge Johnson.
PWID Marijuana - Free on $20,000 bond.
Trafficking Cocaine - Free on $25,000 bond.
Trafficking Heroin - Free on $25,000 bond.

Glenn has also been popped for shoplifting, but this next charge from 2011 piques our interest.

In June of 2011 he was charged with 1st Degree Assault & Battery and released on a $10,000 bond set by Judge Diane Goodstein. The Judge also ordered electronic monitoring and GPS tracking of Glenn while out on bond. According to the database record this case is still pending.

Our question: Was he still wearing that monitor when he was arrested for trafficking narcotics in March of 2013? If so, why didn't we hear about that little fiasco?

Let's move on the next Summatown member. Meet "Ski Wynboy Stacka", real name Shane William Newman. Born in 1991 and uses 817 N. Palmetto Street as his address.

Shane reached out to us on Twitter to let us know we erred in calling his gang Summatown Mobsters. According to him, the proper name is Summa Town Bound.

Newman was shot in October of 2012, just a few hours after the residents of Robinwynn had a march to complain about the escalating gang violence in their neighborhood.

2009 Charges:

2nd Degree Lynching - Dismissed by the 1st Circuit Solicitor.
Strong Arm Robbery - Dismissed by the 1st Circuit Solicitor.

This obstruction charge from 2010 was related to the same robbery and shooting of a woman delivering pizza that Rashad Judge was involved in. Newman was also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle according to the news article, but that charge doesn't show up in the database.

2010 Charges:

Obstruction of Justice - Pled guilty before Judge Diane Goodstein in April of 2011. Sentenced under YOA to a term not to exceed six years.

Newman's cohort and fellow Summatown member was sent up the river for the kidnapping, robbery and shooting of the Domino's Pizza delivery woman. Here is his entry from SCDC:

2010 Charleston County:

1st Offense Possession of Marijuana - Found guilty by Judge David Coker.

2011 Charges:

Armed Robbery - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
Kidnapping - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
1st Degree Assault & Battery - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

Some of you might remember this case 2011 case from Berkeley County. Jessica Lynn Clark lured the victim to a remote area of Summerville where Shane and his brother Ryan Newman were waiting. They beat and robbed the victim, then stripped him naked. Clark was sentenced to probation. Ryan Newman got fourteen years. Charges were dropped against Shane. Here is Ryan Newman's entry on the SCDC site:

2013 Charges:

Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense - Found guilty Judge Katrina Patton. As you have already seen he has a previous conviction for this offense. The proper charge should have been 2nd Offense. Sentence - fine or 30 days in jail. It appears Newman failed to comply and a commitment order was issued for him in June.

2nd Degree Assault & Battery - Pending - Free on a $5,000 bond set by Judge Dennis.

Another Summatown member is Johnnie Bernard Elmore, born in 1991, of 300 West 2nd North Street. He currently uses the name "Rodney Allen" on Thugbook. Before that he was "Wynboy4".

Elmore is currently in the Dorchester County Jail on a trio of violent charges.

Burglary 1st Degree - No bond information.
Discharging a Firearm Into a Dwelling - $40,000 bond set by Judge Whittington.
Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime - $10,000 bond.

You can find Elmore's Twitter feed HERE.

He should have taken a $20 and bought a belt.

Elmore is the cousin of Anthony Willis. Anyone remember him? He was out on bond for the killing of Summatown member Justin Smoot and committed two armed robberies while he was supposed to be wearing an ankle monitor. We aren't sure if Willis was a member of Summatown or not.Willis was sentenced to life in prison for the murder this past September. All other charges were dropped.

Our next Robinwyn/Summatown Wynboy goes by the Thugbook name "John Wynboi Locke", but his actual name is Deonte Buchanon. He was born in October 1995 and resides at 217 Gardenia Street. Well, when he isn't 12-18 months in a juvenile facility, that is. We aren't sure what offense he committed, but it had to be pretty serious for him to get that much time as a juvenile.

Next up is "Keenan Benjamin", born 10-19-1993, of 105 Cherry Place. Other than the fact he is currently in prison, we learned something very interesting from his Thugbook page.

Yep, that's right. Keenan's mother had eight kids (so far), and at least three of them claim the Robinwyn/Summatown gang. How much money do you think she has sucked from the state and federal coffers in her forty-two years? Heck, she even holds cookouts to raise funds to keep Keenan "straight" until he gets out of prison. We can't wait for the next one. We will try to get photos.

Let's take a look at Keenan and then we will delve into why he is in prison.

In December of 2011 Keenan was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol. The 1st Circuit Solicitor dismissed the charge in September of 2012.

In April of 2012 Keenan was charged with two counts of 1st Degree Burglary and five counts of 2nd Degree Burglary.  Now, in a normal solicitor's office the deal would be "Hey, plead guilty to the two 1st degree burglary charges and I will dismiss the other five." Not in the 1st Circuit. Their deal was, "Hey, how about we drop the two 1st degree burglary charges to 2nd degree, and then we will dismiss the four of the other 2nd degree burglary charges and you can plead guilty to the two we lowered plus one AND we will dismiss that gun charge from 2011."

Make sense you to you folks? Yeah, we didn't think so, but you get what you vote for. Elections do have consequences. What's done is done now. Judge Kristi Harrington sentenced Keenan under the YOA to a term not to exceed six years on each of the three he pled guilty to. She set them to run concurrently, of course.

We know you folks in Summerville will be pleased that Keenan will be released in April of 2015. At least you have time to get those alarm systems tuned up.

Let's wrap up today's informative post with a profile of Keenan's older brother, "Stan Wynboy Wilson". His actual name is Deangelo Terrell Benjamin, DOB 11-16-1989. He has the same address of 105 Cherry Place.

We thought we would lead off with some interesting pictures of Deangelo, young children and drugs.

See that bag of dope? Nice, huh? Now you see how generation after generation after generation of thugs are trained.

Here is what Deangelo had to say about Summerville Police after his arrest in March.

2013 Charges:

PWID Marijuana 2nd Offense - $2,500 bond     Deangelo has a record somewhere else in the state, but he isn't listed in Charleston or Berkeley counties.

Distribution of Marijuana Near a School - $2,500 bond.

That is it for tonight folks, but don't worry. There are plenty more Summatown/Wynboys left to profile.
