Police have arrested Ikeal Emar Markets Dacus, of 332 Bryant Road in Reevesville, for the murder of the young woman celebrating her birthday at a St. George club this past weekend. At the time of the murder Dacus was free on a $5,000 bond, set by Judge Johnson in the 1st Circuit, on a charge of Use of a Vehicle Without Permission With Intent to Deprive. He was arrested on that charge in February.

In 2008 Dacus was charged with Distribution of Crack. The 1st Circuit Solicitor let him plead guilty to the lesser charge of Possession of Crack. Judge Diane Goodstein sentenced Dacus to 30 days time served.
