.....Put 'em in jail. When we first saw this story we thought it was probably one of those situations where the younger resident of 1495 Seacroft Road was dealing drugs and the older resident, maybe a father (?) was caught up in it. Research shows this probably wasn't the case in this incident.

The younger arrestee is Ishmel Lemon, who was born in August of 1986. He has quite the adult criminal history which began in 2004.

2004 Charges:

Strong Arm Robbery - Pled guilty in July 2005 before Judge Thomas "Felon's Friend" Hughston. Sentenced under YOA to 1-6 years, suspended in favor of shock incarceration.

2007 Charges:

Possession of Crack - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

2009 Charges:

Trafficking Cocaine - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
Trafficking Cocaine - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.

2011 Charges:

Criminal Domestic Violence of a High & Aggravated Nature - Allowed to plead guilty to the lesser charge of 1st Offense Criminal Domestic Violence by the 9th Circuit Solicitor in April of 2012. Sentenced by Judge R. Markley Dennis to 30 days time served. A review of the bond entry of the record shows he bonded out of jail on this offense the same day he was arrested and DID NOT serve 30 days behind bars on this offense.

Obstruction of Justice, one count of Accessory After the Fact of Murder and two counts of Accessory After the Fact of Attempted Murder. Ishmel was believed to be involved in a shooting at the Kangaroo gas station at Folly and Camp. No other information is given in the Charleston county database, so we aren't sure if these charges were dismissed or are still pending.

2012 Charges (Pending):

2nd Offense Possession of Marijuana - Free on a $1,000 bond.

Ishmel Lemon's latest charges are:

1st Offense Possession of Cocaine - $100,000 bond.
Distribution of Crack Cocaine - $100,000 bond.
PWID Near a School - $50,000 bond.

He has bonded out of jail on all charges.

Ishmel Lemon has a pretty decent track record with the 9th Circuit Solicitor in getting his drug charges dismissed. Anyone want to give odds on it happening again?

The elder Lemon is Steven Lemon who was born in September of 1968. He has a long criminal history, consisting of various charges of thievery and drug dealing.
