It seems the local "news" media only thought this story was newsworthy after we ran it here on Charleston Thug Life.
The "citizen" who participated in the idiocy is Chad Walton. A reader did some research and posted Walton's criminal history in the comments section of our original post. You can read it there.
The fact that Walton may be a maggot doesn't excuse the actions of the deputy, however. What he did was uncalled for, unprofessional, and just plain stupid. Culpepper allowed himself to be antagonized and baited into acting like an idiot by someone who apparently hates the law and law enforcement. Chalk one up for the bad guys, Craig.
The "news" media is extremely quick on the trigger when it comes to police officers doing stupid shit, yet they try to regulate the news when it comes to regular thugs.
