The Real Terrorist Threat

Word on social media is that some sort of gang initiation is going on where they knock on your door and shoot the woman who answers. Don't believe that crap for a second, folks.

We have spent a lot of time over the past 24 hours identifying who the victims are in each of the shootings yesterday, as well as the female shot in the head on Grayson Street back in December. All of these women reside in a home where a dope-boy thug son, stepson, husband or baby-daddy with multiple arrests also resides. These families have been connected to the local drug trade and violent crime for some time now.

These mothers and wives usually know what is going on and where the money to pay the rent comes from. Does that mean it is okay for some thug to start targeting them? No. It's actually the move of a coward, just like most terrorist acts.

If you don't think the events of the past 24 hours are a perfect example of domestic terrorism we don't know what would be. Look at the M.O. (modus operandi) behind all of the incidents. Knock on the door - woman calls out or answers the door - start shooting - multiple times - run away - like a bitch.

Based on what we are picking up, there was absolutely no effort by the suspects to actually enter these homes as one would expect in a typical dope-boy home invasion rip-off. This is nothing more than a coordinated campaign of terror directed at drug market competition, reminiscent of that conducted by the Jamaican gangs of Miami and New York City in the '80's and '90's.

We initially suspected these recent shootings/murders were retribution for the shooting of the female on Grayson Street in December. As we researched through the night we found that conclusion might have been an error. The victim from Grayson Street actually shares the same surname as the husband of one of the victim's from yesterday and that family name has been associated with crime and drug distribution in the Lowcountry for quite some time now. Given the short time span between the shooting of victims #1 and #2 yesterday morning, the logical assumption is they were chosen due to their association with that family name.

In the posting below, "Kthugga Da Slugga", real name Kenneth William Rouse, whines about police locking thugs up for carrying guns on the street when those thugs obviously have a need to "protect" themselves. He then bitches about police response times. The following comments ridicule police, "They got use (sic) niggas fucked up,""They want us to call them for what,""They don't understand, doe".

Who would have guessed police response times were a problem with those in the thug community. Let's take a moment to address this issue.

Approximately five to ten percent of our community uses approximately ninety percent of the services. Yes, that includes law enforcement resources. We have said it before, we will say it again - why do you think you can drive through (if you dare) a neighborhood like Waylyn and run into four or five cops, but you can go to places like Coosaw Creek, and to a lesser extent now, Westcott, and be lucky to find one? Because those resources have to be placed where the most violence and crime occurs.

The officers in those areas run call to call to call. Don't believe it? Buy a scanner and see for yourself. Take a few moments to speak with an officer and ask about the problem solving abilities, or rather, the extreme lack thereof, in these communities. "He looked at me sideways and disrespected me. I'm gonna kill that nigga!" You would be surprised how much hood drama results from something as innocuous as a sideways look.

So, Kenneth, to answer your question, response times sometimes suck because officers are mediating bullshit disputes or standing guard over parking lots at clubs like Blue Magic trying to prevent the usual Shaniqua and Tyrone Theater that all too often results in shootings.

The point these thugs miss is this. If you aren't slinging dope, flashing wads of cash and raiding the homes of other drug dealers, odds are no one will be knocking on your door to take what you have or shooting your mother to convince you the competition just isn't worth it.

Kenneth knows all about getting arrested on gun charges. On 13 December, the 9th Circuit Solicitor and Judge Hughston gave 19 year old Rouse a sweet deal on two gun charges he picked up in October. He was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol and Possession of a Stolen Pistol. He pled guilty to the unlawful carrying charge and the 9th Circuit Solicitor dropped the other one. Judge Thomas "Felon's Friend" Hughston sentenced him to one year, suspended on 61 days time served, two years of probation and forfeiture of the pistol. Did he learn anything?

Just above we have him saying "I need mines". Obviously not.

While we were conducting our research last night we received an email from a citizen. The citizen told us that just after the reported time of the murder on Ventura Avenue yesterday evening they observed a traffic stop on a white vehicle. Officers were being very cautious. The citizen observed the arrest of a black male and officers removing a handgun from the vehicle.

Based on this information we conducted a generic search of the Charleston County Clerk's database and discovered that one Maliek Hamilton was charged with Possession of a Stolen Pistol and lodged in the Al Cannon Detention Center by NCPD.

Related to the recent shootings/murders? Time will tell, friends. Time will tell.
