You know, it's hard enough to keep up with the drug dealer arrests and all the thug shootings. Now we have local departments locking up eight at a time. DCSO did it last week and that case is still in the research phase here at CTL. Now NCPD has jailed eight. Most of those were a bit easier to find, so here we go.
Soni Wells
Her latest charges consist of Distribution of Crack 1st Offense ($25,000 bond) and Possession of a Pistol With an Obliterated Serial Number ($25,000 bond).
Wells has prior arrests in Berkeley and Charleston County known as crimes of moral turpitude. In 2009 she was charged False Report of a Felony. She pled guilty and was sentenced by Judge Roger Young to two years, suspended on the 37 days time served and six months of probation.
In 2010 Wells was charged with Forgery. She pled guilty and was sentenced by Judge Kristie Harrington to one year, suspended in favor of 99 days time served and one year of probation.
Soni Wells claims on her Thugbook page to be married to Chandrika Whaley Bibbs.
Whaley-Bibbs was charged with the same offenses as Soni Wells, but her bonds were $25,000 and $10,000 respectively.
In 2006 Whaley-Bibbs was charged with Grand Larceny and 2nd Degree Burglary. The 9th Circuit Solicitor dismissed the Grand Larceny charge, noting Whaley-Bibbs pled guilty to another charge. The burglary charge was dismissed at the preliminary hearing and re-written as 3rd Degree Burglary. There is no status listed for that charge.
The charge she pled guilty to was Forgery. She was sentenced by Judge R. Markley Dennis to 100 days time served.
.
In 2006 Whaley-Bibbs was charged in Berkeley County with Accessory After the Fact of a Felony. The charge was dismissed at the preliminary hearing.
In 2007 she was charged in general sessions court with Obtaining Money by False Pretense. The 9th Circuit Solicitor sent the charge down to magistrates court and Whaley-Bibbs was found guilty. No sentencing information is available.
Sheri Sullivan was tagged with a $50,000 bond on the Distribution of Crack Cocaine charge and a $25,000 bond on the firearm charge. She has no prior arrest record we could find in Berkeley, Charleston or Dorchester counties. There may be something somewhere else due to the higher bond on the drug charges.
Adriana Lucas claims to be studying criminal justice through the University of Phoenix. She was given a $10,000 bond on the drug charge and a $5,000 bond on the gun charge. We could find no prior arrests for her, either.
