Even the Little Laws Count

Back in October we posted about a shootout in Ashley Shores. The parties in that incident were Derrick McKinley and Brandon Zellars. At the time of the shootout McKinley was free on bond after murdering Zellars' brother Deshawn and had been ordered to stay away from the Zellars family. The shootout with Brandon Zellars showed us how effective those bond conditions (set by Judge Thomas "Felon's Friend" Hughston) actually were.

Brandon Zellars was charged with attempted murder for shooting at McKinley that night. McKinley, however, was released with no charges for shooting at Brandon Zellars. The 9th Circuit Solicitor filed a motion for revocation of McKinley's bond and actually won. McKinley has been back in jail since 24 October. Kudos to Scarlett Wilson and her crew for getting it done.

Brandon Zellars was arrested for the fourth time this year on 18 December. He was pulled over for a traffic violation and got an attitude with the officer. He then engaged in what we have come to know as "Shaniqua & Tyrone theater". If you don't know what that particular type of drama is, watch a few reality cop shows. Zellars was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct and violation of his beginner's permit. Yeah, those charges aren't that serious, but if you can't even obey traffic laws and the law on license restrictions while out on bond for attempted murder, there probably isn't much hope for you.
