A reader posted this comment on another article, but we thought it deserved wider dissemination.
This is the kind of response you get from elected officials who no longer feel responsible to you, the people they were elected to represent. Don't forget, Scarlett Wilson ran unopposed in the last election. Do you think that was because she was doing such a great job no one dared take her on? No, that was done by design of both political parties working in concert. If you look at everything honestly, you will see the business of politics is actually dirtier than the business of street crime. We are beginning to think we should have started "Political Thug Life" and left the gang members and repeat offenders alone.
Scarlett, if we only posted one or two stories pointing out how you and your office have fallen down on the job and put citizens at risk, your comment above would be understandable. However, that is not the case. We find examples of shoddy work and a desire to "clear the docket" on a daily basis. Apparently you think your constituents are stupid enough they won't notice. Here is a tip - our readership grows with each passing day and the discontent is spreading.
We have all heard you on the radio, on television and in print blaming police officers, victims and witnesses for your repeated failures. The public does not want your pathetic excuses, they want results. We have learned that clearing the docket is more important to you than the actual job you were elected to, to wit, ensuring justice is served and protecting the community.
Now the above comment is forever documented in the ether. It will appear again, along with a lot of other information, when the next election rolls around.
Remember folks, elections have consequences.
