As we type this William Rice is involved in a stand-off with U.S. Marshalls, North Charleston Police, and possibly a few other LE agencies on Spring Creek Road in the Forest Hills II subdivision in North Charleston.
Rice is wanted in Berkeley County for failure to appear on several charges from 2011 and 2012.
In 2011 he was charged with Breaking & Entering a Motor Vehicle and released on a $5,000 bond. He failed to appear in court and a warrant was issued on 20 March.

Rice also failed to appear on his 2012 charges of Armed Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy. He had been released on a total of $55,000 bond. A warrant was issued on those charges on 25 February.

Rice also has a pending general sessions shoplifting charge in Charleston County. He is free on a $10,000 bond on that charge.
