A total of three thugs have been charged with an armed robbery and attempted murder which occurred in September of 2012. The incident occurred on St. Ives Road. The three charged are Chanise Shirley King, Jharrda Jerome Brown and Kadeem Shavod Felder.
Chanise King was charged with Armed Robbery, Attempted Murder and Failure to Stop for Blue Lights. Judge Gosnell set an all inclusive bond totaling $50,000 for those charges. She used Palm Circle in Trailwood Mobile Home Park as her address. Hard telling where she is now as that park has been closed up. She could be your neighbor.
Felder's criminal history is a bit more significant. He uses 1920 Lakewood Street as his address.
2008 Charges:
Possession of Crack - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
1st Offense Possession of Cocaine - Pled guilty before Judge R. Markley "Criminal Coddler" Dennis in February 2011. Sentenced to 18 months suspended in favor of one year of probation.
2011 Charges:
Lynching 2nd Degree - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor in February of 2011.
2012 Charges:
Felder was charged with Armed Robbery and Attempted Murder. Judge Lombard set an all inclusive bond of $50,000 for him on all charges.
Brown, of 4828 Luella Street, has a criminal history is simply astounding for a 20 year old.
2009 Charges:
Important Note: These charges were rolled into the same court date as Brown's charges from 2010.
Armed Robbery - allowed to plead guilty to the lesser offense of Strong Arm Robbery by the 9th Circuit Solicitor. Sentenced by Judge Roger Young under the YOA to a term not to exceed six years. He was sentenced in May of 2011.
Note: Judge Lombard set bond on this offense and ordered Brown to have a mental evaluation.
Brown kept police busy building a case against him in 2010. Fortunately, the 9th Circuit Solicitor wasn't overworked by him, though. Keep reading and you will see what we mean.
2010 Charges:
Armed Robbery - allowed to plead guilty to the lesser offense of Accessory After the Fact of a Felony by the 9th Circuit Solicitor. Sentenced under the YOA by Judge Roger Young to a term not to exceed six years.
FOUR Counts of Kidnapping - ALL dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
1st Degree Burglary - Dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
THREE more counts of Armed Robbery - ALL dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
FOUR counts of Possession of a Weapon During a Crime - All dismissed by the 9th Circuit Solicitor.
So, from 2009 to 2010 Kadeem Brown was charged with FOURTEEN felony counts, all violent. Your wonderful 9th Circuit Solicitor worked extremely hard to hammer out an extremely tough plea agreement in which they would dismiss TWELVE of those felonies, in exchange for guilty pleas to two less serious charges. Interesting, isn't it? That's your 9th Circuit Solicitor working up a sweat for you - the citizens who elected her.
We know Brown didn't serve anywhere near the "six years" he was sentenced to in May of 2011. How do we know? We know because he was out shooting and robbing someone in September of 2012.
Brown was charged with Attempted Murder ($200,000 bond), Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime ($50,000 bond) and Armed Robbery ($200,000 bond).
The next time elections for solicitor and state representatives who appoint judges roll around we hope you folks will remember just how hard those solicitors and judges are working for the salaries you pay them.
